When Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain signed for Liverpool from Arsenal last summer, not everyone was convinced that he was good enough to boost Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It took some time for the midfielder to find his stride at Anfield, but when he did, he became an integral part of the team.
Unfortunately for the England international he suffered a serious knee injury in April, which forced him to miss the rest of the season.
The problem was so severe that it is very unlikely that he will play at all during the 2018-19 campaign.
Behind the scenes, though, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been in bright spirits during his recovery and he regularly posts updates via social media.
On Thursday the midfielder posted a photo of himself doing some running and it sparked quite the response on Reddit.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are preparing to take on Huddersfield Town away in the late kick-off on Saturday.
The team have not been at their scintillating best but they share the same points as Premier League leaders Manchester City and second-placed Chelsea.
