Grealish has 'unlimited potential'Urged to move to BayernCity star has spent most of 2024-25 on benchFollow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱Getty Images SportWHAT HAPPENED?
The ex-Liverpool and Bayern midfielder was speculating on transfer stories and shared his admiration of Grealish's talent. He believes the City man needs freedom to express himself on the pitch.

Hamann also thinks the England international's best position would be as a No. 10, and even though he would be competing for playing time with Jamal Musiala, Grealish is the type of player you build around. Grealish has struggled for playing time under Pep Guardiola this season, but is typically deployed off the left.

Hamann told Instant Casino: "Jack Grealish is a player I’d really like to see at Bayern Munich. I think he has still got unlimited potential. He has only had one standout season in four years at Manchester City, I feel like he is a free spirit both on and off the pitch and you have to let him have freedom.
"The question at Bayern would be where he plays, I think he is at his best just behind the centre forward as a number 10 even though he has played a lot out wide, but he was outstanding there for England against Ireland.
"Bayern do have Jamal Musiala there, but I think he is a player that you have to put in his best position because he is that good. It’s also a question of if they are able to afford him, but he would bring flair to the Bundesliga for sure."
WHAT NEXT FOR GREALISH?
Given Grealish's lack of minutes this term – he has only started seven games in the Premier League in 2024-25 – a move away from the Etihad looks increasingly likely. Perhaps a stint on the continent could help the mercurial 29-year-old re-discover his best form.
